On a year-on-year, the fare rose by 97.90 per cent from N37,022.97 in November 2021.
The average fare paid by commuters for bus rides within the city per drop increased by 0.12% month on month in November 2022, from N636.30 in October 2022 to N637.10.
The NBS reported that the average fare paid by commuters for bus rides within the city per drop increased by 42.69 percent year on year, from N446.50 in November 2021 to N446.50 in November 2022.
According to the data, the average fare paid by commuters for intercity bus trips per drop increased by 0.07 percent month on month to N3,848.48 in November 2022, up from N3,845.81 in October 2022.
According to the NBS, fare prices increased 45.53 percent yearly from N2,644.50 in November 2021.
