Oraimo, a tech company, claims to have unveiled the Oraimo Smart Clipper 2, a new smart wireless and rechargeable clipper for hairstylists.

According to a statement from the company, the product would enable professionals to work more shrewdly and productively.

With a powerful vibrating electromagnetic motor and an energy- and speed-saving blade, the smart clipper’s motor was said to be more than adequate.

The package was made for all hair types, according to the statement, as four guided combs were included to aid in giving hair the best trims.

“With the fierce competition in the clippers market lately, Oraimo smart clipper 2 surpasses the expectations of many with its functions not just up to date, but beyond what is available now. The functions are enough to say the best smart clipper is the Oraimo smart clipper 2,” the statement read partly.

Oraimo was founded by a Chinese manufacturing company called Transsion Holdings.

Transsion Holdings is a Shenzhen-based mobile phone manufacturer in China. It also sells mobile phones in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Latin America. In 2017, it was the largest smartphone manufacturer by sales in Africa. Its brands include those for phones like Itel, Tecno, and Infinix, as well as those for after-sales services like Carlcare and accessories like Oraimo. It produces phones in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Ethiopia, China, and most recently India.

History of Transsion Holdings

Transsion Holdings Pvt Ltd was established in Hong Kong in 2006 under the name Transsion Technology with a focus on the creation, production, marketing, and support of mobile communication products. Transsion began concentrating on the African market in July 2008, initially with feature phones under the Tecno and Itel brands. In 2014, Transsion unveiled its first smartphone.

Transsion established its Nigerian subsidiary in June 2008, and by October of that same year, it had subsidiaries in seven other African nations. In 2011, Transsion established a manufacturing facility in Ethiopia.

In 2016, Transsion began doing business in India. In the fourth quarter of 2017, Transsion became the largest smartphone manufacturer for the African market after its brands’ combined market share in Africa surpassed Samsung’s. In the first half of 2017, Transsion was also the top mobile phone producer in Africa. Transsion’s attempt at a reverse takeover in 2018 was unsuccessful.

Transsion Holdings’ new manufacturing facility in Bangladesh began producing smartphones in October 2018. By listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s STAR Market in September 2019, Transsion Holdings became a publicly traded company.
