Yele Bademosi is a Nigerian entrepreneur and was born in 1991. He co-founded Bundle in August of 2019 and served as its former CEO. Additionally, he was a former director of Binance Labs. In addition, he established the software venture Nestcoin, which specializes in building Web3 applications and funding rival startups.

Bademosi was the only boy among the children by his parents. His father wanted him to pursue medicine, so he went to the University of London to pursue that goal. However, he eventually dropped out in favor of developing apps because he was interested in computers rather than medicine.

What is Web3 application?

A notion for a new version of the World Wide Web called Web3 (sometimes referred to as Web 3.0) integrates ideas including decentralization, blockchain technology, and token-based economy. Some journalists and engineers have compared it to Web 2.0, where they claim that content and data are concentrated in a select few businesses that are frequently referred to as “Big Tech.” Gavin Wood, a co-founder of Ethereum, popularized the phrase “Web3” in 2014, and venture capital firms, cryptocurrency enthusiasts, and major technological businesses began to show interest in the concept in 2021.

Some critics contend that Web3 will boost user data security, scalability, and privacy while limiting the power of powerful technology firms. A number of people have expressed concern about Web3’s decentralized web component, pointing to the possibility of poor moderation and the spread of bad content. Some people are worried about the concentration of riches among a select few investors and individuals or about losing their privacy as a result of more extensive data collection. Others have stated that Web3 is little more than a catchphrase or marketing term, citing Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey as examples.

Yele Bademosi’s Career

Bademosi began his career as a manager at Starta, a business devoted to assisting African businesses in their launch by offering training, resources, and networking opportunities. He established Microtraction in 2017, an angel investment company for startups in Africa. In 2019, he pitched an idea to Binance on what the cryptocurrency exchange should be doing in Africa and as a result was hired to become the first Director at Binance Labs. While at Binance Labs he started Bundle Africa, a cryptocurrency startup. He co-founded Nestcoin with Taiwo Orilogbon in November 2021.

Around 9 months ago, Nestcoin announced the raise of $6.4 million in pre-seed funding. It was the first funding the company raised since it was founded.
