Tiwalola Olanubi Jnr is a Nigerian media, food and technology entrepreneur born June 28, 1988.
He is the founder of Dotts Media House, a digital marketing firm, and Zarafet Loaves, a bread company. He also writes the Nigerian Influencer Marketing Report (NIMR).
Engr Tiwalola Wallace Olanubi and Oluwatoyin Olanubi gave birth to Olanubi Jnr in Lagos. He attended Ondo’s St Raphael’s Primary School, Hallmark Secondary School, and Akure’s Becky Parker College. At the University of Lagos, he studied Quantity Surveying.
While in the University of Lagos, Olanubi Jnr acquired an interest in marketing and communications by promoting entertainment events on campus. He was appointed as a Blackberry Nigeria brand ambassador in his third year of university. This fueled his enthusiasm for media and communications. Following graduation, Olanubi Jnr founded DottsMediaHouse (a digital marketing and communications firm), which has since grown into a group company called Dotts Group, which has three subsidiaries: DottsMediaHouse Limited, Dotts Co-Working Space, and Asteri Africa (a booking and management firm).
In 2017, Olanubi Jnr also established a food company, Zarafet Loaves, which manufactures bread. In 2019, he co-founded Trendupp Africa, a platform for influencers and content creators.
In 2018, The Guardian Life Magazine named Olanubi one of the Nigerian youths creating the future, while Vanguard Allure named him one of the 12 exceptional youths shortlisted for the Future Awards. [12] In 2018, his communications firm, DottsMediaHouse, was voted African Quality Achievement Award’s Most Outstanding Quality Digital Marketing Company of the Year, as well as West Africa Digital Marketing Agency of the Decade.
Olanubi led his team at DottsMediaHouse in the publication of Nigeria’s first ever influencer marketing report, NIMR (Nigerian Influencer Marketing Report) in 2019. The report is published annually and distributed to media enthusiasts and content creators at the Lagos Social Media Week.
Olanubi Jnr has been involved in CSR projects such as Leap Africa’s Youth Day of Service, NaijaHacks Hackaton, and others over the last five years. Tiwalola is concerned about governance, youth development, and entrepreneurship.
