On Wednesday, Elon Musk paid a visit to Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco, carrying a sink with him.

Elon Musk has changed his bio to “Chief Twit” ahead of the completion of his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter. On Wednesday, the Tesla CEO also paid a visit to Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco, where he walked the halls carrying a sink. He posted a video of his visit with the caption: “Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!”

He also shared his latest thoughts on Twitter, which are a reiteration of what he has previously stated and are thought to be one of his primary motivations for acquiring the company: “A beautiful thing about Twitter is how it empowers citizen journalism – people are able to disseminate news without an establishment bias.”

Elon Musk is seen in the video carrying the sink and claiming that he was attempting to sink in. Earlier, Twitter’s Chief Marketing Officer, Leslie Berland, reportedly told staff in an email that Musk intends to visit the San Francisco office before the deal’s deadline.

“Elon is in the SF office this week meeting with folks, walking the halls, and continuing to dive in on the important work you all do,” Berland wrote in the memo. “For everyone else, this is just the beginning of many meetings and conversations with Elon, and you’ll all hear directly from him on Friday.”

The agreement would be the culmination of a series of dramatic events since the billionaire announced his intention to acquire the microblogging platform in April.

However, in July, Tesla’s CEO terminated the agreement, accusing Twitter’s leadership of breaching the purchase agreement by misrepresenting the number of spam and fake bot accounts.

Twitter responded by suing Musk, claiming that he used the bots as a pretext to pull out of the deal.

Musk confirmed last week, in a U-turn, that he will proceed with the deal at the originally agreed-upon price of $54.20. The judge hearing the legal battle over the agreement then put the proceedings on hold until October 28. So, if the agreement is not reached by tomorrow, the trial will resume.

Elon Musk is now the third most followed person on Twitter, behind former US President Barack Obama and singer Justin Bieber, according to SocialTracker, a platform that tracks influencers’ social media presence.
