The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone has received 3C certification before its official release next year. The rumor mill has been churning out all kinds of theories about the Galaxy S22 series’ successors. According to reports, the Galaxy S23 series is expected to be unveiled in January or February 2023.
So it’s safe to say that the Galaxy S23 series won’t be available anytime soon. Meanwhile, according to some reports, the series will include three smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are among them. Now, new information about the Galaxy S23 series has surfaced on the internet.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra has been the subject of numerous leaks recently. Ice Universe, a well-known leaker, revealed numerous details about the smartphone last month. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is now listed on 3C with fast charging information. According to the 3C listing, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has the model number SM-S9180.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra will be one of Samsung’s first flagship offerings in 2023. The 3C list was published on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo (via RealMiCentral). According to the listing, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will support at least 25W fast charging. Notably, Samsung’s charger has the model number EP-TA800.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 3C Certification
For those who are unaware, Samsung does not include a charger in the box. As a result, it is safe to assume that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will also come without a charger. According to reports, the phone will support 15W wireless charging and 45W fast charging. However, as with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung will likely equip the Galaxy S23 Ultra with 45W fast charging.
Other than that, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will most likely receive minor upgrades over its predecessors. According to the most recent leaks, the smartphone will have a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. This will be a curved screen with QHD+ resolution. It also has a hole-punch cutout for the 40MP selfie camera.
Ice Universe predicted last month that the Galaxy S23 Ultra would keep the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s camera design. On the back of the upcoming smartphone, there could be a 200MP main camera. Furthermore, it is expected to have the same three cameras as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The S23 Ultra could be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Furthermore, according to some reports, Samsung will offer Exynos-powered Galaxy S23 series phones. However, the Korean smartphone behemoth has not confirmed or denied this rumour.
