Brayan Kimaro, a young Tanzanian farmer, is gaining national attention for transforming his passion for agriculture into a promising poultry tech startup, Fuga App.
What began as a small poultry operation has grown into an innovative agritech solution aimed at helping smallholder farmers manage their flocks more efficiently.
Through Fuga App, users can track feeding schedules, vaccination plans, growth rates, and market access, bringing digital transformation to a sector often overlooked by tech developers.
Kimaro, alongside his farm manager Lameck Mbise, is using technology to bridge the knowledge and infrastructure gap in rural farming communities.
The app has already begun to attract attention from local investors and development partners keen on supporting youth-led innovations in agriculture.
With Tanzania’s agriculture sector facing mounting challenges, including youth unemployment and low productivity, Kimaro’s venture offers a fresh, scalable model that blends technology, entrepreneurship, and food security.
As Fuga App gains traction, it stands as a testament to what young African innovators can achieve with the right mix of ambition, purpose, and tech-driven solutions.
