The Naira fell to N1,570 per dollar in the parallel market on Friday, down from N1,545 per dollar the previous weekend.
However, the Naira rose to N1,528 per dollar on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM).
According to data issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the naira’s indicative exchange rate decreased to N1,528 per dollar from N1,542 per dollar last weekend, indicating a N14 appreciation for the currency.
As a result, the difference between the parallel market and the NFEM rate increased to N42 per dollar, up from N3 per dollar last Friday.
