The Africa Impact Academy, a collaborative initiative between United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa) and MoFund Africa, is now accepting applications for its 2025 cohort.

This program is designed to empower Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), non-profit organizations, and social enterprises across Africa that are committed to creating sustainable community impact through innovative, tech-enabled solutions and active youth involvement.

Program Highlights:

  • Capacity Building & Training: Participants will engage in expert-led sessions focusing on strategic growth, financial sustainability, and innovative problem-solving.

  • Mentorship & Coaching: Each organization will be paired with seasoned mentors providing personalized guidance and business development insights.

  • Networking Opportunities: Access to a vast network of industry leaders, investors, and potential collaborators to help scale initiatives.

  • Technology Integration: Assistance in leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and impact.

  • Impact Measurement Training: Guidance on best practices for assessing social and economic impact to ensure sustainable growth.

  • Funding Strategies: Insights into securing grants, attracting investors, and diversifying revenue streams.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Registration: Applicants must be registered SMEs, social enterprises, or non-profit organizations.

  • Impact Focus: Demonstrated commitment to creating sustainable community impact.

  • Technology Use: Utilization of technology or tech-enabled solutions in service delivery.

  • Youth Engagement: Active involvement of youth in operations, workforce, or as a target audience.

  • Scalability: Innovative business model with potential for growth and scalability.

Application Process:

  • Deadline: Applications are open until February 28, 2025, with reviews conducted on a rolling basis. Early submissions are encouraged.
