Scott Perry, a United States politician, has accused the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) of sponsoring terrorist outfits such as Boko Haram, ISIS, and Al-Qaeda.

Perry, a Republican from Pennsylvania, made these statements Thursday during the inaugural meeting of the Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE), according to The Economist. The session, “The War on Waste: Stamping Out the Scourge of Improper Payments and Fraud,” focused on claims of theft of taxpayer monies.

He said, “Who gets some of that money?” Is that name familiar to anyone in the room? Because your money, $697 million every year, plus shipments of cash funding to Madrasas, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, ISIS Khorasan, and terrorist training camps.

That is what it funds.”He stated that the estimated $136 million in USAID funding for the construction of 120 schools in Pakistan provided “zero evidence” of the schools’ construction.

“You’re sponsoring terrorism through USAID. And it isn’t only Afghanistan; Pakistan is right next door. “USAID has spent $840 million on Pakistan’s education program over the last 20 years. “It contains $136 million to build 120 schools, but there is no indication that any of them were built.

Why is there any evidence? The Inspector General cannot enter to see them. But you know what? We doubled down, spending $20 million from USAID to develop instructional television programs for children who are unable to attend physical school. “Yes, they cannot attend since it does not exist. You’ve paid for it.
