The Leventis Foundation Nigeria invites applications for its comprehensive one-year training program in modern and sustainable agriculture for the 2025 academic year. This fully-funded program is designed to empower young Nigerians with hands-on training and expertise in various aspects of agriculture and agribusiness.
About the Program
The Leventis Foundation, established in 1987, operates six agricultural training schools located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Osun, Kano, and Gombe States. These schools, co-funded by the Leventis Foundation and state governments, focus on building practical skills in agriculture, sustainable farming practices, and natural resource management.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 40 years old.
- Be physically fit.
- Demonstrate basic literacy in English (minimum of secondary school education preferred).
- Show a keen interest in agriculture and agribusiness.
- Have a farming background (an added advantage).
- Pass a written and oral examination during the selection process.
Required Application Documents
Applicants must bring the following documents on the screening/examination day:
- A handwritten cover letter.
- A letter of attestation signed by a local government official or a Justice of the Peace (JP).
- Two recent passport-sized photographs.
- Three reference letters.
- Photocopies of academic qualifications or other relevant documents.

The program is hosted at various Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Schools, including:
- Osun State: Imo, P.M.B. 5074, Ilesa.
- Kano State: Panda, Albasu Local Government, P.M.B. 3555, Kano.
- FCT, Abuja: Yaba, Abaji Area Council, P.M.B. 001, Abaji.
