The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has approved the publication of the Nigerian Foreign Exchange (FX) Code.
According to a statement from the CBN, the Code acts as a guideline for the banking industry to encourage the ethical conduct of licensed dealers in the country’s foreign exchange market.
The apex bank also said that the Code would be officially launched next Monday in Abuja. The CBN stated, “The Central Bank of Nigeria has approved the release of the Nigerian Foreign Exchange (FX) Code as a guideline to the banking industry to promote ethical conduct of authorised dealers in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market.”
“The Bank will formally launch the Code at the CBN Head Office Auditorium, Abuja, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.”
