The stability and health of both individuals and communities are directly impacted by food security, which is essential to human well-being. However, because of crisis, conflict, and climate change, food insecurity is increasing in many areas.

Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), with an emphasis on community-based organisations, tech-driven CSOs, and social enterprises, are invited to address these issues through creative and significant solutions that contribute to a more secure future through the Tadamon Accelerator for Food Security, which is run by UNDP and funded by IsDB and ISFD.

Do you work for a CSO that has a creative project to improve food security? Are you working in the State of Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Burkina Faso, Chad, Djibouti, Libya, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, or Afghanistan? If so, you are welcome to become a member of the Tadamon Accelerator for Food Security and continue refining your creative solutions to build a more resilient and safe future with sustainable access to food.

Building on the 2022 Tadamon Accelerator’s success, this second edition is expected to be even more effective, fulfilling, and revolutionary!

Your project proposals should align with one of the following two thematic tracks:

  • Track 1: Climate-smart agriculture
  • Track 2: Tech for food, energy, and water access and utilization
