Buhari mourns victims of stampede tragedies, extends festive greetings to Nigerians

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed great grief over the recent terrible stampedes in Oyo State, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and Anambra State, which resulted in considerable casualties and injuries.

Buhari sent a condolence message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, and Minister of the FCT Nyesom Wike on Sunday.

He asked them to express his condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Buhari expressed his condolences to the Catholic community and encouraged them to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ. He also wished Nigerians a prosperous, peaceful, and healthy 2025.
