The African Water Corridor Scholarship will be awarded by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG) to two exceptional students from Sub-Saharan Africa enrolled in the Master of Environmental Engineering program with a focus on Water Resources Engineering beginning in 2025–2026.
The African Water Corridor Scholarship is a proud initiative of TU Delft for bright and driven MSc students from Sub-Saharan Africa. Students from Ghana, Kenya, and Tanzania are particularly encouraged to apply for this opportunity.
The TU Delft Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG) will be the site of the two-year master’s scholarship. The master’s degree in environmental engineering teaches students how to deal with the depletion of natural resources like groundwater, air pollution, the impact of climate change on urban living conditions, and the availability and scarcity of resources like waste and water.
These issues are crucial in a world that is changing, growing in population, and using more clean resources than ever before.
In the areas of air quality, hydrology and water resources management, water technology, and urban water infrastructure—all of which TU Delft has a rich history in—an environmental engineer will research these issues and create engineering solutions.
