USADF is thrilled to announce the opening of the USADF Off-Grid Energy Challenge for proposals. Eligible off-grid energy companies in Africa are asked to submit proposals.
Award: Funding in the form of grant capital up to $250,000 will be given to chosen enterprises.
Applicants must be primarily African-owned and managed private businesses and organisations (including non-profit and not-for-profit ones) that are registered and functioning in any of the following African nations: Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia; Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (South Kivu).
The paper provided below with the title “Request for Proposal” contains all application instructions. Additionally, the application template is uploaded below for candidates to fill out.
On or before December 12, 2024, applicants must submit the filled-out application template together with any necessary attachments. It is recommended that applicants submit their proposals as soon as feasible because applications will be evaluated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
