The Port Harcourt refinery has finally started producing fuel after multiple delays.
This was revealed on Tuesday by Olufemi Soneye, the spokesperson for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. He confirmed that truck loading will begin today.
According to information obtained, the refinery will initially have a daily capacity of 60,000 barrels, supplying the Nigerian market with diesel, Premium Motor Spirit, and other products.
After the Dangote Refinery started producing PMS in September, the Port Harcourt Refinery would be the second refinery to produce petrol.
It is one of the three that the NNPC oversees and the Federal Government owns.
