Mike Bamiloye, a renowned Nigerian preacher and filmmaker, has given a caution to anyone who talk evil of God’s servants, underlining the potential consequences of such actions. In a statement on his official X account, Bamiloye used biblical references to highlight the perils of disrespecting spiritual leaders.
“Some people carried superfluous curses that they should not have carried in the first place. Why? “Because they insulted some genuine men of God who carry fires meant for the devil,” he explained.
Bamiloye quoted 2 Samuel 6:16 and 6:23 to tell the account of Michal, Saul’s daughter, who loathed King David for dancing in celebration before God. He pointed out that, while David did not curse Michal, she received divine vengeance by remaining childless until her death. “That is how some ignorant and arrogant people are getting their fingers burnt in the fire they cannot quench,” he told me.
“Because some men of God have disappointed you, this does not mean that every man of God you see should be despised and insulted.” “It is a very dangerous venture.” Bamiloye concluded, “Some individuals are always looking for a reason to dislike and talk about men of God. “Fear for your future!”
