Charles Awuzie, a businessman from Nigeria living in South Africa and the organiser of the Evolve X Conference, stated that it was time to turn the competitiveness between African nations into economic progress through investment partnerships and smart business mentoring.
The industry titans, mentors, speakers, panellists, and celebrities who will grace the Evolve Conference in Lagos next Friday, September 27, were just announced on the thought leader and founder of Gemsbok Group’s verified Facebook page. According to Awuzie, a $100 million Africa Tech Fund will be launched during the annual conference, which is in its second edition, with a focus on African innovators from Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Zambia, and other African nations.
He went on to say that the Evolve Conference and Exhibition will provide the world—as well as Africa—a singular chance to stimulate global trade, encourage deliberate living, and propel technical advancement throughout the continent.
Awuzie went on to say that the conference is a place where ideas become reality, a way to meet influential people, present innovations, broaden perspectives, cultivate meaningful connections, and generate leads and sales.
He went on, “This platform will spark cross-border collaborations and funding mechanisms, showcase innovative solutions, connect industry leaders, network mentors and mentees, and facilitate knowledge exchange.”
Thought leaders, business owners, celebrities, IT fans, legislators, and young professionals who want to promote innovation and advance sustainable development are expected, according to the convener.
They are chasers with a serious mindset. Thus, be aware that everyone you connect with during the conference has a limited capacity, the speaker said.
Ossai Ilome, the conference’s CEO, stated that attendees will be able to grow personally, improve their skills, and have the ability to lead revolutionary change in their respective industry sectors. Ilome expressed their confidence that the Evolve Conference and Exhibition will act as a beacon of growth because of Africa’s dynamic potential.
Beauty queens and other well-known Nigerian celebrities are expected to attend the conference, according to the convener, Awuzie. Among the beauty queens are 2024 Miss Universe Nigeria and model Chidimma Adetshina, 2024 Miss Kwara, Ufa Dania, and 2014 Miss United Nations, Dr. Precious Chikwendu, an actor from Nollywood.
Awuzie went on to say that the meeting will be hosted by Dr. Precious Chikwendu. He claims that since the Evolve X Conference is intended to be rotated across several African nations, this year’s event might be the last to be held in Nigeria.
