Juliana Rotich is one entrepreneur who is on a mission to make a difference in the continent by empowering young individuals to use the internet to get heard. A cap with many feathers, Juliana is a globally renowned technologist, entrepreneur, futurist, strategic adviser, and keynote speaker.
She is the founder of Ushahidi, an open-source platform that was founded for Africans to upload and share information – especially about crisis and crisis situations.
The platform is currently in use in more than countries, and it was a significant platform used for the comprehensive documentation of hate speech during the presidential election campaign in the United States of America.
