Sanwo-Olu also emphasised the significance of frequent sanitation for a healthy lifestyle. He asked homeowners to make continuous cleaning of their houses, surroundings, and street drainage a priority going forward.
Speaking to a large crowd at Omobokun Street, Ekimogun Underbridge by Iyana Iworo, Berger Bus Stop, Wahab, he stated that, “The monthly environmental sanitation will be re-introduced and officially announced by Mr. Governor at the appropriate time soon, after adequate awareness, sanitisation, and advocacy programs, which are currently underway, are completed.
“Earlier, we began the weekly advocacy activity on Lagos Island, followed by Mushin, Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, LGA, and Bariga today, before moving on to another local government area next Sunday. “The state is embarking on this advocacy campaign to ensure that the citizens voluntarily embrace and imbibe the culture of cleanliness.”
