We are happy to announce that Her Excellency, Dr. Nafisa Nasir Idris, the wife of the Executive Governor of Kebbi State and the founder and chairperson of the Nafisa Nasir Charity Development Foundation (NANAS Foundation), will receive the esteemed Humanitarian Award in 2024. August 24, 2024, is the planned date of the award ceremony, which will be held in Merit House, Maitama, FCT Abuja.

The Humanitarian Awards and Magazine Foundation is hosting this event with the goal of honouring and recognising people and institutions who have made exceptional contributions to humanitarian issues. Kebbi State and beyond have greatly benefited from Dr. Idris’s unwavering commitment to using the NANAS Foundation to improve the lives of the impoverished.

The projects carried out by her foundation are centred on giving individuals in need access to basic amenities, assistance, and education; they also promote sustainable development and provide doors to a better future.

The week-long event will feature a number of activities like feeding street beggars, bringing writing supplies and food items to the School of the Blind, planning a football game called “Kick Out Hunger,” and holding a skill-acquisition workshop. The highlight of the week will be the award ceremony.

In expressing her gratitude, Dr. Idris said, “It is an enormous honour to receive this award. It inspires us to carry out our purpose of helping and empowering people who are in need. I sincerely appreciate this recognition from the Humanitarian Awards and Magazine Foundation.

“Her Excellency Dr. Nafisa Nasir Idris is a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication and compassion,” said Mr. Emmanuel Anabueze, creator of the Humanitarian Awards and Magazine Foundation, in extending his congratulations to Dr. Idris. We are ecstatic to honour her exceptional contributions to humanitarian endeavours. This event, which emphasises the value of compassion, service, and community development, looks to be a major gathering of humanitarian leaders and organisations.
