World Eat For Good Day, recently observed worldwide, serves as a platform to raise awareness about the importance of adopting sustainable and healthy eating habits. Knorr, a prominent Nigerian seasoning brand, commemorated this year’s event by launching a new initiative aimed at inspiring individuals to make a positive impact on the world through their dietary choices.

The event, held at the Unilever Lagos headquarters, featured the introduction of fourteen Eativists. These individuals are advocates for incorporating vegetables into meals and consciously selecting options that promote personal health and environmental sustainability, thus motivating others to follow suit.

Among the Eativists are notable personalities such as Tobi Bakre, Taymesan, Anu Bakre, Mory Coco, Kaylah Oniwo, Linda Ejiofor – Suleiman, Nancy Umeh, Chef Derin, Chef Cupid, Chef Roux, Diary of a Kitchen Lover, Zeelicious Foods, Chef Fregz, and Dr. Robert. Despite their diverse backgrounds, these individuals epitomize the principles of eating for good.

Arinze Madumere, Knorr’s Brand Manager, underscored the significance of the Eat for Good movement, emphasizing its potential impact on both personal health and the environment. He stated, “We believe that dietary choices have far-reaching consequences, not only for individual well-being but also for environmental sustainability.

By strategically selecting Eativists, we aim to inspire people to incorporate a wider variety of foods into their diets, emphasizing more vegetables, plants, and less meat. Through these meaningful yet simple adjustments, we can enhance our health and contribute to environmental preservation.”
