A combined funeral service was held for the late Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba, and son Chizi at the RCCG Tribe of Judah Parish in Isiokpo, Ikwerre local government area of Rivers State.
On Friday, March 8, Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, along with the governors of Lagos and Ogun States, Babajide Sanwolu and Chief Dapo Abiodun, Minister of Trade, Chief Wale Edun, FCT Minister, Chief Nyesom Wike, Mr. Peter Obi, former governors of Ekiti and Delta, Kayode Fayemi and Chief James Ibori, attended the service.
Prominent businessman Aliko Dangote was also among the distinguished Nigerians who attended the Christian wake-keeping and commendation service for the late Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba, and son, Chizi, in Isiokpo.
During the funeral service, Governor Siminialayi Fubara of Rivers State urged people to ensure that their lives make an impact, stating that the late Wigwe had completed his work in the world, and it is now up to people to do their own.
Entrepreneurng reported that a California helicopter crash claimed the lives of Wigwe, his wife, son, and former Group Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, or NGX Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo.
