LAGOS – As part of a worldwide consultation process on the peace and development in Nigeria, the Nzuko Umunna, a pan-Igbo group, whose members cut across individual professionals within Nigeria and the Diaspora, and members/leaders of The Core Federalists, will hold a summit to interact with the populace on the happenings in the country.
At a press conference held on Tuesday in Lagos by the Nzuko Umunna, in collaboration with The Core Federalists, to sensitise Nigerians on the forthcoming “Maiden Handshake Across Nigeria: Towards A Productive Nigeria,” Yinka Odumakin, Administrator, Core Federalists and Dr. Austin Nweze, Secretary, Nzuko Umunna Handshake Across Nigeria Planning Committee, said the event will hold on Monday, November 19, by 10 am at the Shell Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
Prof. Wole Soyinka, Nobel Laureate, who is the keynote speaker, will speak on the theme: “Nigeria Beyond Oil,” Gen. Ike Nwachukwu, former External Affairs Minister, will chair the event also to be co-chaired by Ambassador Ibrahim Gambari.
