As everyone looks toward the forthcoming election on the 25th of February. People have come up with different views that there is a high probability that the election will end up in a conflict, Entrepreneurng report.
Notwithstanding, Joe Biden the President of the United States of America, has urged Nigerians to exercise their civic duty by voting for their preferred candidate in Saturday’s presidential election.
In this regard, he urges all Nigerian citizens to say no to vote to buy. As we all know we have three ruling parties, which are APC, PDP, and the LP.
Biden also praised the participating political parties and presidential candidates for signing the peace accord yesterday, just days before the presidential and National Assembly elections on February 25.
On this note, the presidential candidate from each party has proven to all citizens that the election will be an inch-free election and with utmost assurance that people should come out to vote on that day.
However, the united state president reiterated that by signing the pledge, the parties and candidates agreed to accept the results of the election as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission and to support a peaceful transition of power.

“Elections are a fundamental part of a functioning democracy, and all Nigerians deserve this chance to choose their future freely and fairly,” says Biden in a statement released by the US Consulate General.
The United States strongly does not support any single candidate or party, we strongly support a peaceful and transparent process that reflects the will of the people of Nigeria and it is with utmost interest that Nigeria becomes a united nation again through its forthcoming election.
On election day, the united state president also encourages all Nigerians regardless of religion, region, or ethnicity to exercise this fundamental freedom and make their voices heard, including young voters, many of whom may be voting for the first time.
No Nigerian citizen should be intimidated or wrongly advised on who to vote for during the process of the election. Feel free to exercise your right with your voter’s card.
In conclusion, the United States stands with the Nigerian people as they chart a path toward a more democratic, prosperous, and secure future. In appreciation of President Buhari’s firm commitment to respecting the will of the people. And, in the coming days, I urge voters to be calm and patient as their ballots are counted, and I urge political parties and candidates to keep their promises. Don’t sell your vote.
